Hitek Textile Showcases Functional Innovation and Sustainable Materials in Tokyo

In May 2026, Hitek Textile took part in PanTextiles Tokyo, presenting SiTEX FIR functional yarn, sustainable materials, and a diverse range of performance fabrics while connecting with Japanese brands and industry professionals.

Held at BELLESALLE SHIBUYA FIRST, this marked Hitek Textile’s second appearance in Japan following the Osaka exhibition — another opportunity to engage directly with the Japanese market and share our latest developments in functional textiles, natural materials, and fabric design.

Functional Technology That Begins with the Yarn

A key highlight of the exhibition was SiTEX FIR, Hitek Textile’s independently developed functional yarn. Through a nano-processing method, natural mineral materials are evenly blended into the masterbatch before being spun into yarn — allowing the functional components to remain within the fiber itself and deliver long-lasting performance.

Beyond functionality, we continue refining dyeability, fabric hand feel, and design flexibility, with the goal of offering textiles that meet brands’ expectations for color, appearance, and everyday comfort.

Combining Performance with Sustainability

The collection featured a range of functional and sustainable textile concepts, including spandex-free stretch fabrics and materials incorporating natural fibers such as pineapple fiber and Japanese paper — developments that respond to growing market demand for circular materials, lower-carbon solutions, and greater design flexibility.

We also showcased performance fabrics with cooling, sun-protection, and heat-retention properties, suitable for outdoor sportswear, everyday clothing, casual apparel, and uniforms — helping brands identify the right textiles for different markets and use cases.

Connecting with Japanese Brands

Throughout the exhibition, we connected with Japanese brands, buyers, and industry partners to introduce SiTEX FIR’s technical features and fabric applications, while gaining a deeper understanding of the Japanese market’s expectations around texture, design, functionality, and sustainable materials.

PanTextiles Tokyo was more than a product showcase — it was a valuable opportunity to gather market feedback, discuss product development, and build new partnerships. The strong interest in materials that combine performance, sustainability, and design has opened new possibilities for future international collaboration.

Expanding the Global Applications of Functional Textiles

From Osaka to Tokyo, each international exhibition marks an important step for Hitek Textile in understanding new markets and strengthening global partnerships. We will continue developing SiTEX FIR technology, natural sustainable materials, and diverse fabric applications — delivering textile solutions that combine performance, comfort, design, and sustainability.
